In 7 days, we will have a Medical Team departing for Ghana! Together with CMRF (a medical mission program located inn the capital of Accra), we will travel to Upper East and Vea, Ghana for a much needed and anticipated 4 day medical clinic. Together with CMRF we will be 5 MDs; 3 residents; 1 OT; 6 RN’s; 2 Pharmacists; Audio/Visual team of 4; 2 dentists; 4 counselors; 5 support team members (working with children and assisting clinic in general); 6 interpreters. We plan to see upwards of 9,000 people over the 4 days.

Prayers for all of our teams that our in their final days of preparations, that they are granted a peaceful and open heart. That they maintain a flexible spirit and our open to see LifeChange occur before their eyes… in those who’s lives they touch, but also in themselves.KLM

Real Life & One Community send our team to Kenya!

Our Kenya team has arrived in Murang’a! After a long journey, I am so happy to report that they had NO issues at customs (carrying quite a bit of much needed medical supplies, which are at risk of either high taxes or finding their way out of the bags and into customs agent’s hands and pockets). Also, zipped right through the immigration counter! God is good! They will be working on many projects, from health screening to some construction efforts. Joining them in one week will be the team continuing on with them to Uganda.

Please join us as we pray for their journey! Will post updates here as they come in! Thank you Alan Buddy Henderson Madison Emert Jolliff & Adam Jolliff as you continue to Change the World!Kenya Team

MEET PHILEMON!

PHILEMON (ID# 1210)

PHILEMON AYIIRE Age 14 (Grade 6)

Philemon is 14 years old and in P6 (6th grade).  He loves to playing soccer with his friends.

Philemon lives with his parents and two siblings.  His father is a farmer and her mother is a basket weaver.

Philemon needs your help! Philemon just took part in a medical screening and was discovered to have a very treatable condition.  The problem is, his family makes barely the equivalent of $14 per month.  Without sponsorship, ensuring he receives the medical treatment necessary is unlikely.  Would you consider helping to support Philemon through Child Sponsorship?
